John's Story

John recently experienced the death of his wife. His children care about him, but time with their dad is sandwiched between children, jobs, commitments and not enough rest. Martin is John's Staff "Daughter" who comes to visit each week. He takes John to the barbershop, movies, the driving range to hit golf balls, out to lunch, and a variety of other places where they enjoy an afternoon outing.

Martin helped John arrange for a new lawn care service and when the gutters needed cleaning, he coordinated that. For a birthday celebration, Martin arranged for a lunch at the golf course with John and some friends. The weekly card games with cronies wouldn't happen without Martin's help.
